Icy Day Glory

After a recent storm we were left with an ice covered world. It was spectacular while briefly lit by the sun.

Even after the sun went behind the clouds the ice was glorious.

By wearing my micro-spikes I was able to walk on the frozen sidewalks and streets.

Every branch, leaf and dried blossom was covered in ice.

The coating was thick enough to see through.

The drips from the previous day were preserved in the cold like a moment frozen in time.

Everything around me was encased, highlighted . . .

and made GLORIOUS!
